A high-end sofa is not recognised only by its price or its silhouette. It is judged by what you cannot always see: the frame, the filling, the finishing. Here are the criteria to check before buying quality, high-end furniture.

1. The frame

The frame carries everything else. A frame in dry, sturdy wood, well assembled, withstands years of use and house moves. Ask what it is made of: it is a sign of seriousness when the answer is precise.

2. The filling and comfort

A high-resilience (HR) foam keeps its shape and comfort longer than standard foam. Also check how the seat is designed, and whether the cushions recover after use. Dazzuro models feature HR foam and generous seats.

3. The fabric

A fine fabric is judged by its abrasion resistance, its feel and the evenness of the weave. Our guide Which fabric to choose for a sofa explains these criteria.

4. The finishing

  • Straight, even stitching with no loose threads.
  • Carefully matched patterns and topstitching.
  • Modules that line up perfectly with one another.

5. The possibility of composing

At the high end, you expect a sofa adapted to your living room rather than an imposed model. Customisable shape, composition and texture are part of this level of expectation. Discover the Signature Collection and the modular sofas.

6. The support

A good purchase comes with clear information on dimensions, delivery and care. At Dazzuro, delivery is provided in Belgium and Luxembourg.
